“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” the fifth film starring Harrison Ford’s fedora-wearing, whip-cracking archaeologist, opens with a prologue set during the final days of World War II featuring a digitally de-aged Ford.

The sequence is a typical Indiana Jones-style chase and fight over the eponymous dial of destiny. Unfortunately, the de-aging on Ford is distracting, especially with the eyes, which have a glassy, animated look. It also doesn’t help that Ford’s voice sounds like that of an older man and creates a dissonance with the visuals.
