OSSIPEE — A Brookfield woman has been indicted on a count of manslaughter and a slew of other charges in connection with a fatal head-on crash in May that killed an elderly passenger in her vehicle. The crash happened the day before the passenger was to turn 88 years old.

Indictments against Deborah Lanctot, 63, were handed up by a Carroll County Superior Court grand jury on Dec. 19 regarding a crash on May 8. The December indictments were made available by the County Attorney’s Office on Jan. 22.
