MADISON — In recent weeks, residents have demanded that selectmen put an end to town employees excessively using public property for their own use, and selectmen say their insurer will conduct an investigation.
In December, Selectmen Chair Adam Price and Jake B. initially said employee use of town equipment was a “perk,” but Selectman Joy Gray said it is a violation of New Hampshire law.
