DURHAM — In what had already been a record-setting season for the Kennett High track team, the Eagles may have saved their best for the last meet of the season — the prestigious Meet of Champions at the University of New Hampshire in Durham on Sunday. The boy’s and girl’s 4X100-meter relay teams both shattered school records and also qualified for the New England Track and Field Championships.

Senior Aida Wheat, who anchored the record-setting relay team for the girls, also repeated as the New Hampshire 200-meter dash champion, and she placed third in the 100 meters.
