FRYEBURG — Neither rain, wind, sleet or snow could slow the ground game of the Fryeburg Academy football team in its Class C South quarterfinal came against Yarmouth on Saturday afternoon. The Raiders rushed for six touchdowns in their 36-6 victory over the Clippers before an enthusiastic home crowd.

Fryeburg, the No. 2 seeds in Class C South, won its eighth straight game with the victory. It was the second time this season that Fryeburg has beaten the Clippers, having beaten them 35-0 in Yarmouth on Sept. 14. In the first win, running back Calvin Southwick ran for three touchdowns.
