CONWAY — Everything fell into place for the Kennett High girls’ basketball team on Friday night. Before the largest crowd of the season at the Nest, the Eagles dominated visiting ConVal 47-30 to remain undefeated in Division II play, and the icing on the cake came with 1:46 left in the fourth quarter, when Isabel "Izzy" Wrobleski hit a turn around jump shot for points No. 1,000 and 1,001 of her career (see related story), becoming just the 12th Eagle to reach the prestigious milestone.

“It really was the perfect scenario,” said Larry Meader, Eagles’ head coach. “We won the game, Izzy got her 1,000 points at home, which we all had hoped would happen.”
