CONWAY — The Kennett High cross-country running teams closed the book on this season by competing in the Division II Championships at Derryfield Park on Saturday. The boys from Conway finished ninth overall out of 17 schools, while the girls were 11th.
“The course has been changed in a few spots,” said Bernie Livingston, Eagles’ head coach. “The changes made it significantly slower, I’d say by a good 35-45 seconds over last year. There was a lot more dirt and rocky spots.”
