MANCHESTER — The Kennett High cross-country team closed the book on the fall season by competing in the Division II State Championships at Derryfield Park in Manchester on Oct. 25. Although not the results the Eagles were hoping for, Coach Bernie Livingston was proud of the effort by the hometown flock.

Eighteen teams competed in the meet, with the Kennett boys placing ninth and the KHS girls 12th overall.
