OSSIPEE — On Wednesday, the Ossipee Board of Selectmen agreed to move forward with modifications to the Deer Run Trail boardwalk at Constitution Park to bring it into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The decision followed legal warnings and a complaint by videographer Ed Comeau to state authorities after selectmen Brian Keyes and Kyle Copeland overruled Selectman Jonathan Smith’s decision, acting as building inspector, to demand that the recently completed boardwalk be redone to include arm rails.
