CONWAY — The seedings have held true throughout the Division II softball tournament, which was not good news for the Kennett High softball team on Saturday. The No. 8 seeded Eagles fell 6-2 at No. 1 Milford in the quarterfinals on what was legendary coach Peter Ames’ final game.

Ames ends his 33-year career with an impressive record of 455-222 with four state championships and six trips to the Final Four.
