FRYEBURG — In the Southern Maine Class B Conference Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, Fryeburg Academy's Eddie Plessinger and Liam Harriman punched their tickets to extend their seasons by qualifying for the Maine State Championships.

In the 132-pound bracket, Plessinger lost to Josh Savage of Madison in the semifinals but came back to pin an opponent and earn his spot in the consolation finals. There, Plessinger defeated Mountain Valley's Alex Shorey by major decision, 12-3, and earned third place for the tournament.
