FRYEBURG — One of the early season surprises in Fryeburg Academy Softball is the return of Fred Apt, and Chris Dutton to the coaching staff. Briley (Walker) Young and Kristina Stevens are on the staff as well, making Fryeburg an instant team to beat in Class B. South.

Members this year’s varsity squad include seniors Delaney Forrest and Sarah Shackford; juniors Burke Callen, Carlin Galligan, Sharis Santos and Bridget Wilson; sophomores Azalea Grant and Caelin McIver; and freshmen Kara Dutton, Kaylan Forrest, Presli Knapp, Kylee Logan, Hannah Murray, Addison Valente and Reagan Wilson.
