CONWAY — After missing the playoffs by one spot in 2024, the Kennett High girls’ soccer team enters this season on a mission, making it into the postseason this fall. There are 25 girls out for the team this year and optimism is high heading into the fall.

The Eagles were slated to get one of their longest trips of the season out of the way on Aug. 29 when they were scheduled to travel to Amherst to play Souhegan, but the game was postponed due to the threat of thunderstorms. The game was rescheduled to Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
