FRYEBURG — The Fryeburg Academy boys’ alpine team is having a season to remember. After winning the Western Maine Conference Championships at Pleasant Mountain in Bridgton in windy conditions on Feb. 14, the Raiders have their sights firmly set on a bigger prize — a state championship.

The Class A Alpine Championships kicked off on Monday at Titcomb Mountain in Farmington, Maine with the slalom (results not known as of press time). The championships are scheduled to conclude with GS racing there on Tuesday.
