FRYEBURG — The Fryeburg Academy boys’ alpine team placed second overall in a competitive Class A Alpine Championships last week at Titcomb Mountain in Farmington, Maine. The Raiders were only two points behind eventual champs Falmouth after the slalom race on Feb. 24, but the Navigators dominated the GS the following day to lift the overall crown.
The FA girls were fifth overall in the championships with Falmouth taking top honors.
