Onto the Frozen Four

CONWAY — The Kennett High ice hockey team will be bringing havoc to the Plymouth State University Ice Arena on Wednesday night. Senior Miles Woodbury scored 3:21 into overtime on Saturday to give the No. 6 seeded Eagles a 4-3 victory over No. 3 Hollis-Brookline-Derryfield (13-5-1) at Conway Arena in Nashua to send the hometown flock to the Frozen Four in the Division III tournament.

Kennett (8-10-1) will face another team that pulled off a quarterfinal upset in No. 7 ConVal-Conant (7-9-1), which knocked off No. 2 Belmont-Gilford (14-5), 7-4 at the Laconia Ice Arena on Saturday. The Eagles and Griffins are scheduled to take the ice at 7:30 p.m. at PSU.
