CONWAY — It wasn’t the Homecoming that the Kennett High football team had been hoping for. The Eagles had a rough night at Gary Millen Stadium on Friday as they were unable to stop the run or get their running game going against visiting John Stark. The Generals gained more than 350 yards on the ground with senior Jacob Cole having the game of his life with 315 yards rushing and four touchdowns in the 30-13 victory.

The loss drops Kennett to 2-3 on the season and most likely brings an end to hope for playoff football. The Eagles sit in sixth in Division II North, while John Stark improved to 3-2 and moved into fourth place in the division. Ten schools currently have better records than the boys from Conway.
