FRYEBURG — The Fryeburg Academy boys’ Nordic ski team qualified two members for the U16 New England Championships on Saturday. Sophomore Will McDonnell and freshman Oren Monteith both qualified for team Maine which will compete against the other New England states (plus New York) at Gore Mountain, N.Y. in March.
Coach John Weston praised the two Raiders for their accomplishments. The top 20 skiers from each state qualify for the New England Championships.
