CONWAY — Like it or not, short-term rentals are here to stay. Some maintain they are a boon to our tourism-based economy, while others blame the dearth of affordable housing units on the VRBOs and Airbnbs in our midst.

That said, today’s STR landscape in the Mount Washington Valley is very different than the boom that started during the COVID-19 pandemic.
