MADISON — Madison selectmen voted last week to put an $8,000 warrant article on the ballot to fund an investigation into employee use of town equipment, but it wasn’t unanimous.

The vote to move money for an investigation from the budget into a separate warrant article, taken at the Feb. 10 budget hearing, was 3-2, with Adam Price (chair), Jim Eldridge and Jake Boewe in the majority, and Nicole Nordlund and Joy Gray, who both wanted to see the investigation funding in the operating budget, opposed.
