Frase is one of six new River Hawks

 

7-17-melissa-frase-umass-lowellLOWELL, Mass. – Led by former Lowell High School standout Ashley Rivera, UMass Lowell will add eight newcomers to its roster for the 2012-13 season, head coach Sarah Behn announced Monday. Among them is former Kennett High 1,000 point scoring guard Melissa Frase (pictured second from right) from Tamworth.

Rivera, who will play her senior year at UMass Lowell after three years at the University of Rhode Island, joins sophomore Demetria Bell (Braintree, Mass.), who will suit up for the River Hawks after one season at Bryant University.
