BARTLETT — There are always great Halloween displays every fall — and this year is no different as one drives around the valley.

Without question, one that literally lights up these ghoulish, fog-shrouded nights is the illuminated, inflatable display of 45 scary characters set up on the front lawn of teen terror display lover Jack Travers’ home in Birchview on the Saco in Glen, just west of the Bernerhof Inn off U.S. Route 302.
