ALBANY — Following the success of its “Going Solar? Meet Your Neighbor’s” program in March, the Tin Mountain Energy Team has launched a new initiative to promote the adoption of solar energy across the region. The team is offering small, brightly colored metal signs that simply state “We’ve Gone Solar” to any home or business that has installed a solar electric array.

The goal of the campaign is to encourage conversation and visibility around solar power. By placing the 5½-by-7½-inch aluminum signs in a conspicuous place, solar array owners can prompt passersby to notice their system and open discussions about how solar electricity saves money and helps combat climate change.
