CONWAY — Selectmen are telling the New Hampshire Department of Transportation not to place a stop sign on the eastern side of the Saco Covered Bridge and are also advising DOT to do a traffic study before any changes are made.

Residents who live near the state-owned bridge on East Side Road say drivers routinely speed through the bridge and often in oversized vehicles.
