Leona R. (Emery) Mains of Fryeburg Maine died October 17, 2025, after a period of declining health. She was born June 27, 1928, in North Fryeburg to Charles and Reta Emery. Leona was born and raised in Fryeburg, attending the local schools and graduating from Fryeburg Academy.

Upon her marriage to her husband William Mains Jr. in 1948, Leona worked for many years as a beautician before joining her husband to help run their restaurant business.
