SARGENT’S PURCHASE — On Sunday, endurance athletes tackled Ski, Shoe & Fatbike to the Clouds, presented by Delta Dental. This is a winter race up the snow-covered Mt. Washington Auto Road widely known as “North America’s Toughest 10K.”
The event combined 4km of Nordic trail racing with a 6km mountain climb, averaging a 12 percent grade and gaining roughly 2,200 feet in elevation. Mother Nature provided fair weather and a bluebird sky.
