OSSIPEE — After being asked to do so by a Superior Court judge, Carroll County prosecutors have provided new details about what they allege caused the June 2024 crash that killed the son of state Sen. Mark McConkey (R-Freedom), saying the driver of a pickup was pursuing a motorcyclist and attempted to pass another vehicle without first making sure it was safe to do so.
The new allegations against Zachary Peters, now 30, of Parsonsfield, Maine, were outlined in a bill of particulars filed Tuesday in Carroll County Superior Court.
