TAMWORTH — U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.) took part in a tour Thursday morning of Tamworth Village Commons, a care-supported 55+ senior living complex that is currently under construction at 43 Tamworth Road.

The estimated $9 million project is an innovative model designed to fill the need between fully independent senior living and assisted living communities. It is owned and operated by the Betty C. Ketchum Foundation, a charitable trust, non-profit organization founded in 2018 that serves the needs of all constituent families regardless of income.
