Another opening day is in the books and like all those before it was a memorable event. In all of the opening days that I have participated in, there never was a bad one in my memory. This year was special in that my son, who had not fished in many years, joined me.

Little boys grow up and pursue many other interests and many times they move on from those things that once gave them pleasure. If you wait long enough sometimes they rediscover those things.
