North Country Angling: A fine day for the Troutman and Old Timer season-ender

Troutman walked out of the remote pond after having a successful fall fishing trip. The pond was small and perfect for an adventure with the Old Timer. Troutman fished the pond with the use of a float tube but he checked the boats left at the pond, and a couple of the boats were unlocked. Troutman had his window to take the Old Timer into the pond.

Arriving at camp, Troutman went into the storage shed to find paddles and an anchor that could be carried into the pond. He loaded the anchor and two personal flotation devices into his pack basket. He knew that he would have to have everything ready to go if he was going to convince the Old Timer to walk into the pond with him the next day.
