The autumn cycling season is upon us and with it comes a time for shifting gears into a time of year that traditionally means cooler temperatures, glorious foliage, a change in apparel and an attitude adjustment as cheeky gnomes often lurk under nature’s ground cover.

Warmth is key to enjoying an autumnal spin whether on singletrack, gravel or pavement. With both air and body temperatures fluctuating, it’s a good idea to layer up and peel off during the course of a ride. Mornings tend to be colder before the sun lazily makes its rays known.
