New Hampshire has the second-highest percentage of vanity plates — 13 percent — trailing only Virginia at 16 percent. Facing a decrease in revenues, the New Hampshire Legislature will likely raise a variety of fees, including the cost of vanity plates, which would increase from $40 to $60. One clever vanity plate seen recently on a pickup truck with a dog in the passenger seat was Pup&Trk.
