Responses to last week’s Tele-Talk question — “Should Fryeburg and other western Maine towns embrace the marijuana industry as an economic engine?” – were mixed, but the majority agreed that Fryeburg and western Maine should embrace the marijuana industry. With 31 people responding, seven were against the idea that the marijuana industry should play a large role in western Maine’s economy. However, 20 people were in favor, while four provided input that didn’t necessarily agree with either side. The full selection of responses is printed here.

What an excellent article that is clearing up a lot of the mess about medical marijuana. Excellent article, very informative, and it takes away from the reefer madness propaganda that’s put out there about a plant that helps so many elements, and half the country is on board. It adds huge economic growth as well. It’s about time that people recognize the reason why it’s a lot more acceptable. People forget that the legal drug, which is mood and mind-altering, is alcohol and it has destroyed many families and lives, it doesn’t heal any ailments whatsoever. People need to remember that. Great article and come on Fryeburg, get with the program.
