The effort to build a skateboard park on a piece of land owned by the state at the southern end of the Mount Washington Valley Rec Path has been stymied by a lawsuit that asserts the town does not have the authority to give the land to the Kevin Peace Memorial Skate Park non-profit organization. The town is looking at alternate sites on land it owns instead.
