At their meeting on Wednesday, the Conway Public Library trustees discussed doing a memorial of some kind for Brooke Barron, the young woman who was killed when the truck in which she was a passenger crashed into the front columns of the library in 2022. Barron’s family is on board with the idea. The library is in the process of replacing the columns, remnants of which are stored in the basement, and is also renovating its park with a Story Walk, tree plantings and other new features.

This week’s Tele-Talk: How do you think Brooke Barron might best be memorialized at the library?
