To the editor:I am writing to correct an error that appeared in Rich Johnson's Jackson Town Column in the Feb. 23 Sun concerning a scheduled meeting.The informational meeting about the capital improvements plan for the town of Jackson will be held on Wednesday, March 2, at 7 p.m. in the town hall. Anyone interested in Jackson's future capital expenditures is urged to attend.The Capital Improvements Plan Committee, made of selectmen, planning board members, department heads and interested citizens, has been working over the past year to develop a plan to address the town's capital needs over the next six years. Projects include building a public safety facility, providing a large meeting space, and improving the school and library. Proposals suggested during the PlanNH planning event last spring will also be discussed.The committee hopes that anyone who is interested in learning about and contributing to the discussion of these projects will attend the meeting on Wednesday, March 2.
