CONWAY — In the wake of their loss in federal court, lawyers representing the town tentatively agreed Monday that the town won’t enforce a public art ordinance and ask voters next April to rescind it.

The town had determined a painting of baked goods over the entrance to the business was an illegally large sign. In response, bakery owner Sean Young sued the town and won in federal court, as Judge Joseph Laplante found the town’s enforcement of its sign ordinance was flawed.
