To the editor:Do you remember your first love? Maybe you would describe the first time you saw his face and the fluttery feelings you experienced. The relationship began in joy and hope, but eventually ended. Lives that drifted apart or a relationship that ended in anger and tears. Maybe you married your first love and lived a happy life together until one passed on and you were left alone in remorse or emptiness and fear. Perhaps your first love ended with more questions than answers about love.I remember my true love. I can't describe it with emotions that I could name. They were too jumbled to be described. Reality, or certainty would describe it best. When I finally reached out to God with a heart that needed an answer, he revealed himself in a quiet, subtle, yet powerful and unquestionable way. My relationship with God began in tears, but I couldn't tell you why. A profound sense of reality flooded me. I wept for the wretchedness of my sin and I wept for the joy of knowing his love and forgiveness. In a moment of time, all my questions were answered and God's answer was Jesus."Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins." --I John 4:10.You've had a first love, but have you found true love? "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." --Jeremiah 29:13.
