To the editor:

To help lower our property taxes, we need to let our representatives in Concord know that we support HB 550. This legislation would increase the cost of an adequate education from $4,100 to $7,356.01 per pupil. This would shift some of the burden from our local towns to the state. We know from our taxes that this is not even half of the costs needed for educating a student.
