To the editor:

Why is it that when the town of Conway and SAU 9 cancel school due to inclement weather, and the police and fire departments ask people to stay off the roads, does the SAU 9 Conway Education Support Personnel contract require full-time, year-round employees to show up to work anyway or “suffer the loss of salary?” This is not required by any of the other staff or teachers. How does this sound remotely fair or make any sense?
