CONWAY — A local man accused of sexually assaulting and strangling a teen at a party of J-1 workers and international students last Dec. 18 was ordered held without bail last Thursday by a Carroll County Superior Court judge.
Miguel Hernan Ramirez Arellano, 24, of Conway was indicted March 18 on a felony count of aggravated felonious sexual assault for allegedly holding down and digitally penetrating an 18-year-old woman. The indictment carries a possible 20-year prison sentence. He was also indicted on a Class B felony charge of second-degree assault for allegedly strangling the woman.
