In the last few years, we have watched the New Hampshire state Legislature’s extreme overreach, including telling women what they can do with their own bodies to controlling locally elected school boards and dictating what can be taught. Penalties include fines, lawsuits, and for women and doctors possible imprisonment. These laws are the work of extremists taking their orders from special interest groups far removed from New Hampshire. As someone deeply involved in local community life, I have seen this government overreach take its toll. So I decided to seek office as the N.H. representative serving Ossipee.
Since when is the ability to have an abortion up to the 24th week of pregnancy extreme?
When did parents having a say in their child's education become extreme? I thought there was supposed to be a "partnership" between the parents and schools.
Sounds like you want to represent your own special interests and push an agenda instead of representing the constituencies.
You know what is extreme; Unrestricted abortions, CRT being taught in public schools, "Gender Affirmation" of school children without the parent's knowledge, and treating parents as Extremists.
There you go, just as Pat said, talking points coming straight from special interests far removed from New Hampshire rather than from our own communities. For example, no one in any of our communities had thought about CRT because it never was and still isn't being taught here. Just another special interest hot button issue to divide us.
Got to love that anyone who gets critical becomes a "special interest group".
Here's a suggestion for the candidate; At least identify yourself and the Party you affiliate with from the start, unless you are trying to keep it a secret.
You are a DEMOCRAT. Own it, wear it, try and justify where the Democrat Party has brought us today. Try and tell us how the Democrat Party deserves our vote.
