At a press conference held during the recent G20 summit in Osaka, Japan, when President Donald Trump was asked about busing children to other school districts beginning in the 1970s to desegregate classrooms, he responded: “Well, it has been been something they’ve done for a long period of time. I mean, you know, there aren’t that many ways that you’re going to get people to schools.”
