To the editor:

Several months ago, I brought my young daughter to hear Democratic congressional candidate Maura Sullivan speak here in North Conway. I wanted her to meet a Granite Stater whose life offered a powerful example of what young women can do — and of why we shouldn't make assumptions about who looks like a Marine, a veteran, or a leader.
