Food trucks and Airbnb short-term rentals have been in the news lately, and Town Hall officials are beginning to address a changing business environment created by what’s called “the sharing economy.”

Short-term rentals, handled by local Realtors, have been around for decades, but the ability to book online through Airbnb and VRBO has exploded the industry.
