To the editor:A vote for Carol Shea-Porter on Nov. 7 would give us a congressman we could all be proud of. Carol is a true product of New Hampshire: public high school, a UNH degree in Social Services and a Masters in Public Affairs. Her husbands Army service took her to live in the western U.S. and Washington D.C. While there she worked as a social worker and taught and lectured on current affairs. If you have seen her in action you know she is an effective speaker. She comes across as just what she is - an intelligent, experienced, thoughtful worker for the common good. Unlike many politicians, she does not avoid difficult questions. She speaks forthrightly on the war, health care and the other vexing problems our nation faces today. Find out for yourself. Go to Conway on Wednesday, Nov. 1 when Jeb Bradley has agreed to a debate; 6 p.m. at the Conway Elementary School. Carols solutions are practical doable. We can trust her to be sensitive to the needs and wishes of all of us.She would be a true Representative of all of New Hampshire. For more information go to: carolforcongress.com.
