To the editor:To the voters of New Hampshire House District #4 (Bartlett, Chatham, Conway, Hale's and Hart's Location, and Jackson):Now that things have settle down a bit after the election, I would like to thank all of you who took the time to vote on Nov. 5. I particularly appreciate the support that I received, and am honored to be able to represent you for the next two years. I realize that some of you did not support me, but that only means that I must work particularly hard to gain your trust. Together with Reps. Carolyn Brown, Gene Chandler and Henry Mock. I am available to you at any time.In previous years, most of you only had two representatives. The bright side of the new redistricting plan is that now you have four people available to help. So please do not hesitate to call us with any problems you may have or with good ideas for making New Hampshire and Mount Washington Valley a better place to live. Not only do I want to thank all those who voted for me and helped with my reelection, but I really appreciate the opportunities provided by Valley Vision. For the first time, Channel 3 videotaped the "Candidates' Forum" which took place in North Conway on Oct. 24 and produced the "Point of View" show which provided each candidate three to four minutes to speak. Brierly Ostrander and Doug Poor are to be congratulated for putting these shows together. I have spoken to Jim Osborn about roundtable discussions with the local representatives while the Legislature is in session to help keep the viewers updated about what's going on in Concord. Fred Guardello did this on one local radio station, and it worked very well.Again, my thanks to all of you who helped in the recent election. I look forward to hearing from you from time to time.
