John Fuller and Fairness

I am writing to further develop the information I shared at the Conway School Board meeting on Monday, July 27.

At that meeting, I protested the lack of transparency surrounding the district's use of the John Fuller School for area businesses. As a small local business owner, I find the inconsistent application of the district's own policies has created an unfair advantage for another for-profit business that is directly competing with mine. SAU 9 Superintendent Aimee Frechette also gave free or discounted use of the facility to a nonprofit on whose board she serves. Despite the worthiness of that nonprofit, it's just another example of unfairly doling out the use of taxpayer-owned district assets.
