Call out: It’s not hard to imagine a future where gadgets produce and we consume.  

You and I made money by going to work most every day and getting a paycheck every week or two. That’s changing. And that’s a problem. Sixty years ago, around two-thirds of the total income received by Americans came from wages and salaries. Today, only about half — half of all the income we receive is a result of actually going to work.
