CONWAY — Three sets of siblings, known as the Mount Washington Valley Explorers, not only represented their community at the 2016 New Hampshire First Lego League State Championship in Windham on Saturday, but they also brought home a first-place presentation trophy.

The Explorers consist of brothers Nico Zakon, 13, and Aaron Zakon, 11, of the Robert Frost Charter School; brothers Caleb White, 13, from Josiah Bartlett Middle School and Micah White, 10, from Jackson Grammar School; and siblings Molly DellaValla, 10 and Joseph DellaValla, 8, two home-schooled students from Jackson. The team was coached by Angela Zakon, with assistance from Jessica DellaValla.
